P5A PORT ORFORD CEDAR SHAFTING

All of our shafting has been HAND SPINED  here at Valley Traditional Archery Supply to assure accuracy in what you receive.  No factory spining can compare with the extreme labor-intense hand spining process.  If accuracy and getting what you pay for is important to you, insist on hand spined shafts.  We sell only Premium shafting, which during the hand spining process is also checked for imperfections, straightness of grain and the physical straightness of the shaft.  

We do not offer a shaft straightening service.  This is the first step in the arrow-building process, and most productive when done by the arrow maker at that time.   

  5/16:  30/35# thru 45/50#
11/32:  40/45# thru 65/70#
23/64:  65/70# and Up

These are standard stocking weights/sizes.  From time to time we do have in stock other spine weights in 5/l6, 11/32, and 23/64 diameter shafting.  Call for availability.

There are many traditional shooters who prefer having their arrow shafts matched in physical weight.  We offer our Port Orford Premium Cedar Shafts digitally matched in weight within ten (10) grains or less.  This process is also done at Valley Traditional Archery Supply.

Richly stained. A three feather left helical fletch and cresting bands to compliment fletching and nock. These are ready to shoot. Sent full length (32”) or cut to your draw length. (See above).  These arrows are matched in physical weight, plus or minus 10 grains.     Points and/or  broadheads additional.

These attractive arrows are a necessity for fun shoots. Striking 4-feather fletch, rich warm walnut stain and matching cresting. Sent full length. Some spines in stock. Others are made to order.
