SLIDE TITLE: A SPOTLIGHT ON: MERCHANDISING EXECUTION ASSOCIATES

SLIDE TITLE: WHAT DOES A MERCHANDISING EXECUTION ASSOCIATE (MET) DO?

KIM F.
We have a lot of responsibilities we’re here to back the store up, and working for the vendors, we take care of their base. New products roll out, we put them together, we put them on displays, we get them clean, we get them marked correctly.

KELLEY K.
We go into each bay in the store and determine whether or not the bay set the planogram. So, whether or not it’s right. And then we go through, fill the shelves, dust, clean.

KIM F.
So now we leave that bay. That bay should be very shoppable for all the customers.

CAMERON J.
I make sure that product is pulled forward and that it looks presentable.

LORI W.
If the product is on the shelf, then it’s easy for the customer to come in and get what they need and leave, without even having to ask for help.

SLIDE TITLE: HOW MUCH OF A MET ASSOCIATE’S DAY IS MOVING OR LIFTING PRODUCT?

CAMERON J.
So it’s a very physical job, and honestly, it’ll keep you fit.

LORI W.
You’re moving beams, you’re moving heavy product.

KELLEY K.
Obviously, some areas have heavier merchandise than other areas.

JEREMY W.
Sometimes they’ll be lifting a toilet or a vanity; we make sure that safety is really a top priority.

LORI W.
I want you to go home the same way you came to work.

KELLEY K.
When you need a hand, you can get it.

SLIDE TITLE: WHY HOME DEPOT?

KELLEY K.
So, my first Christmas here was really cool, because you get to see all of the displays going up.

LORI W.
Doing Halloween and Christmas is a big thing for the team. A lot of people love it because the full team is involved.

KELLEY K.
That’s the satisfaction of it, is knowing that if I was a customer, I’d be happy to be there.

LORI W.
When you’re done with it and you step back and you look at your work, it’s very rewarding.
