Andrew lived a life full of love, laughter, adventure, and authenticity, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be remembered by all who knew him.

Among all his roles, Andrew was a devoted father who cared infinitely for his son. He was always there to support, nurture, and take care of him, ensuring Blaze felt loved, valued, and cherished. Andrew’s dedication to fatherhood was one of his greatest sources of pride, and his son was the light of his life.

Andrew’s laugh was unforgettable—warm, infectious, and capable of brightening any room and lifting everyone’s spirits.

He wasn’t just the life of the party; he was the heart and soul of it. A natural comedian, Andrew could always be counted on to bring humor to any situation, making others smile with his quick wit and sharp comedic timing. Andrew shared his unique view on life, connecting with, and inspiring people through his humor and creativity. He had a gift for making everyone feel included and loved, and his genuine presence was a constant source of light to those near him.

His talents extended beyond his comical abilities—Andrew was a true musician whose passion for music left a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of hearing him drop a beat. Andrew’s passion for learning was boundless, and his enthusiasm for history, as well as his favorite hobbies like Pokémon, Comic Books, Art, Anime, Star Wars, and Magic: The Gathering, added to his vibrant personality.

Through it all, Andrew was authentically himself. He was someone you could always count on—steadfast, supportive, and present, no matter the circumstances. His kindness, strength, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends defined who he was at his core. His love, support, and steady presence will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Andrew is predeceased by his Mother Karen Lopez McIntyre, Grandfather Alexander Nye, and survived by Father Larry Nye, Son Blaze, Sisters Alison McIntyre, Aaliyah McIntyre, Marrisa Ohmann, Emily Lopez, Adriana Lopez, Brother Joshua Mitchell, Niece and Nephews including Charley Maldonado, Aunts Kelly Loughrey, Katherine Nye, Christine Welker, Cousins Peter Welker, Amanda Mari, Zein Tynon, Miranda Thornton, Jaren Dana, Cassie Greathouse, Allie Lockwood, Derek Lockwood, Bessie Blocher, Grandmothers Dana McIntyre, Carolyn Nye, who will forever carry forward the love, joy, and wisdom he brought into their lives. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.

A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held on October 27th, 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Hope and Anchor Pub in Loves Park IL, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the man who lived passionately, loved deeply, and brought laughter into the world.

Rest in peace, Andrew. Your laugh, your authenticity, passion for life, and your incredible spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
